"My husband and I had discussed owning real estate for several years, but that was as far as the idea had gone.  One night I saw an infomercial by a real estate investment guru on a TV channel I'd never seen before.  The ideas he presented about getting started in real estate investing really clicked at that moment, and I had to know more.  After ordering the initial promo material, then finding out it would cost me thousands of dollars to get any real help, I cancelled and sent back the "free" information.  Thus started my journey in real estate investing.

Greg Wilson co-hosts a weekly Real Estate Investing meeting that I was referred to by a commercial investor friend of my husband's.  Since my husband works full time, I was the logical choice to gather information and see if this was an area in which we should proceed.  After attending that meeting for several weeks, I realized that Greg was the real deal and truly  wanted to help investors succeed.  At this point, I also realized I needed more in depth help, and I knew Greg was the perfect Real Estate Investing Mentor I'd been searching for to help me become successful.

As I said, my husband works full time (and overtime,) and I am a full time mom, so that left only a few hours during the middle of the school days for me to devote to investing.  But with Greg's help, encouragement and expert Real Estate investment guidance, and a HUGE dose of perseverance and tenacity on my part, after a few months I bought my first house!!

This house is a brick 3/2/2, in a nice neighborhood and with good schools.  Since it was my first deal, Greg actually went with me on the initial call to look at the house, and then guided me in negotiations and contract signing with the seller on the second visit.  Even though I was nervous, I had a great sense of comfort in knowing I had an extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy mentor at my side. 

In the end, I bought the house for a "quick-turn flip" at 36.29% of tax value!  Greg turned me, a wanna-be investor, into a clear, logical thinker, educated researcher and successful investor, with my eyes on a great future in real estate.
